Renewable Energy Package

When you buy a lot at Williams Hill, you will also be investing in a community renewable energy package which will provide all of the electricity needs for the neighborhood. By incorporating both a community wind turbine and photovoltaic array, we will be preserving local energy independence and protecting the environment. The Williams Hill Development has received a grant from the Vermont Clean Energy Development Fund to install an anemometer at the future wind turbine location to monitor the wind resource over the next year. The information gathered from this assessment will allow the Project Team to evaluate the best renewable energy package for the site.
